Mychal Kendricks is an American football linebacker currently playing for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of California, Berkeley.
Marvin Mychal-Christopher Kendricks was born on 28 September 1990 to parents Marvin Kendricks and Yvonne Thagon. He grew up with younger sister Danielle and a younger brother Eric Kendricks in Fresno, California.
Kendricks pursued his early education at Herbert Hoover High School in his hometown. He then went to the University of California, Berkeley to play college football. He stands at a height of 5 feet 11 inches (1.80 meters) and weighs 240 lbs (109 kg).
Mychal played with the California Golden Bears football from 2008 to 2011. There, he had 259 tackles, 13.5 sacks, four interceptions and a touchdown. He was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round (46th overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft.

He started his first career Super Bowl and made four combined tackles as the Eagles defeated the New England Patriots 41–33 to win the Super Bowl LII. After playing for six seasons, he was released by the Eagles on 22 May 2018. Kendricks then joined the Cleveland Browns but was released after being charged by federal prosecutors with insider trading on 29 August 2018. Afterward, he a one-year contract with the Seattle Seahawks on 13 September 2018.
Mychal was charged with insider trading, allegedly making $1.2 million from investments in 2014. He pleaded guilty to his charges on 6 September 2018, and would possibly face penalties of up to 25 years in prison.
Moreover, he was scheduled to be sentenced on 24 January 2019, but was moved to 4 April 2019. Again, sentencing for him was set for 25 September but this was pushed back again to 21 November and then again to February 2020.
Mychal signed a 1-year contract with the Seattle Seahawks, worth $4,500,000. It includes an average annual salary of $4,500,000.

He will earn a base salary of $2,000,000, a roster bonus of $750,000 and a workout bonus of $250,000, while carrying a cap hit of $3,000,000 and a dead cap value of $500,000 in 2019.
The 29-year-old has made his dating status out of public sight to the date. He is yet to reveal his romance on his social media.
